Rush

Erratic Rush is a fast-paced, chaos-driven board game created by a multidisciplinary team of designers, writers, and strategists. Our goal was simple: make a game that’s fun, inclusive, unpredictable, and designed to bring people together—whether you’re a competitive player, a casual observer, or just in it for the laughs.

Philosophy

Philosophy

Every visual decision in Erratic Rush was intentional:

• Clean fonts and negative space kept the look modern and legible.

• Iconography and card design embraced “explain at a glance” principles.

• Color palettes were controlled inside the game to contrast with the black-and-white exterior.

Box

The game box became a focal point of the brand. I intentionally stripped back the visuals and embraced high-contrast, minimal typography, inspired by Cards Against Humanity’s bold aesthetic. This approach:

• Made the game instantly shelf-readable.

• Gave it a tongue-in-cheek sophistication that hints at the chaos inside.

• Created a modern, sleek contrast to the unpredictable, colorful energy of the gameplay.

“The design had to act like a poker face—clean and understated—while hiding absolute nonsense inside.”
